Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
I admit that I hate this kind of question. I can plan, I can make lists, I can think and visualize. And most of the time circumstances and situations are different from the pictures in my head.
Yes, we are creators. Yes, we are more than what we see in a mirror. But life is composed of more than what I can think or feel. There is so much that I don’t know, and so many surprises in life, that I would like to live intentionally.
Consider each day as a new opportunity to be more creative. Use every day to practice, and not wait for a specific time to meditate. Make that call; write that poem; stop and pause.
Let go of all I don’t control. Be aware of the magic of traveling to the past or future in my head. Pray for the well-being of all.
Have urgency each day. As Don Juan (from Carlos Castaneda) says “vivir al acecho”. Keep at it. Plan but with an open agenda, accepting what comes as it comes. Amor fati.
If it’s good or bad, who knows? My agenda is open to the wonderment of life. Let me accept its surprises…
